NMEA 2000 Maretron Mini Connectors

A NMEA 2000 Mini Connector is a larger-sized connector than a Micro or Micro/Mid connector, and complies with the NMEA 2000 standard. The pinout configuration is different than the more standard NMEA 2000 Micro Connecters and the two can not be connected together without using some sort of adapter.  NMEA 2000 connectors are used to establish a network between various marine electronic devices such as GPS receivers, chartplotters, fishfinders, sensors, and other instruments. These connectors are designed to provide a reliable and waterproof connection in the harsh marine environment. The MIni Connector is used primarily on backbone installations with many NMEA 2000 drops and provides additional power carrying capabilities needed for these larger installations.
