On moving vessels, apparent wind alone is misleading. The 300WX-IP67 continuously calculates Dynamic True wind by integrating GNSS speed data with stabilized heading and motion data to cancel out apparent wind and deliver the True wind speed and direction. That clarity improves navigation decisions, supports autonomous control systems, and enhances vessel performance optimization.

Like its counterpart, the IP67 model integrates easily into marine and industrial networks, including NMEA 2000®, NMEA 0183, J1939, and ISOBUS systems. Bluetooth** connectivity with Airmar's CAST™ enables remote configuration and firmware updates without removing it from its installed location — especially valuable for mast-mounted or difficult-to-access installations.
